A Secret About Newborn Skin * Rockville Newborn Photographer

One of the questions that comes up repeatedly when new moms and dads book their newborn session is:

“What about his skin?”

Let’s face it. Newborns are perfect. They smell like perfection, they feel like perfection, and when they are in your arms…it is perfection.

But their skin can sometimes be a little scaly, peel-y, or even a bit blotchy. And that can cause some hesitation when it comes to getting their first portraits.

Let me reassure you that newborn skin has its imperfections but that will not affect your final images. It does take time and dedication on my end and I can honestly say that my heart and soul goes into processing and retouching your images so that when you receive your final prints and products, what you see matches what you feel: your new, little bundle of joy in all of their perfection.
