Glen Echo Park.
Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways!
- The bridge- it’s within a tunnel of delicious light, perfect for creating a sense of warmth within images. And, little ones love looking over and through the slats, imagining where the creek beneath the bridge ends!
- The wall- a wonderful backdrop for close-ups and group shots. This is also where a lot of laughter can be heard, as the kids and I battle over who can make the best expression!
- The wood plank walkway- perfect for sitting or laying down on….and of course, seeing who can count all of the planks that make up the walkway 🙂
- The benches- my toddler friends love to use these to pull up and cruise along. Of course, each session here usually starts at the benches, where we sit and get to know each other a little more before the session begins.
Those are just a few of the reasons why I love Glen Echo park for all types of portrait sessions—babies, children, seniors, couples, and families. The possibilities are great! There’s also the red doors, the carousel, the windows, the dance hall….
